What’s in the box

PlatformOS ships as a single installation image. It includes:

• OpenStack core — Nova (compute), Neutron (networking), Cinder (block storage), Glance (images), Keystone (identity), Horizon (dashboard);
• Billing module — resource accounting, metering, quotas, limits, invoice generation and payment processing;
• One-click app catalog — a marketplace of applications with automated deployment;
• Operator control panel — monitoring, reports, customer and tariff management.

Everything is assembled, tested and version-locked: upgrades run as a single command and never require reinstalling components one by one.

Installation

The installation image can be downloaded from the Download page. A step-by-step guide is available in the Quick Start document.

1. Write the installation image to a USB drive or boot over the network;
2. Enter the cluster server addresses in the interactive wizard;
3. Wait for the deployment to complete (30–60 minutes depending on cluster size);
4. Log in to the control panel and create your first project.

Installer requirements: 3 nodes (5 or more recommended), at least 64 GB RAM per node, 2 network interfaces, disks for Ceph.

Editions

Support and updates

The Enterprise edition includes round-the-clock support, an agreed service level (SLA) and priority security updates. Community edition users get documentation, the community forum and quarterly releases.
