FAQ

Installation and updates

Can the platform run on two nodes?

No, the minimum configuration is three nodes — this is what makes Ceph and the management services fault-tolerant.

Can I install it on top of an existing OpenStack?

No, the platform installs onto clean servers only. Migrating existing clouds is performed with the help of our team (Enterprise edition).

How often are updates released?

Releases come quarterly, security updates as they become available. Enterprise customers receive hotfix releases with priority.

Licensing

What is the difference between Community and Enterprise?

The edition comparison is available on the [Product](/en/product/) page. The key differences are 24×7 support, 1C integrations and the extended catalog.

How much does the Enterprise edition cost?

Pricing depends on the number of cluster nodes. Request a commercial proposal at sales@example.com.

Operations

What should I do when a Ceph pool is 80% full?

Add disks to the nodes or reclaim space from unused VMs. At 80% full, creating new disks is blocked automatically.

How do I move a VM between projects?

Direct migration is not supported. Use an image: create a disk image, copy it to the target project and create the VM again.

Where can I see resource costs before the period ends?

The "Billing" section of the project panel shows current charges, updated hourly.

Is IPv6 supported?

Yes, since version 2.4 external networks support IPv6 and dual stack.
