One-Click App Catalog

Installing an application

  1. Open the “Catalog” section in the project panel;
  2. Pick an application and click “Install”;
  3. Enter a name, a VM flavor and the parameters described;
  4. Wait for the deployment — usually 5–15 minutes.

The platform provisions the virtual machine, sets up networking and deploys the application with sensible defaults. Access details (URL and a temporary administrator password) are available right after install.

Application parameters

Every application may expose configurable parameters: version, size, enabled modules. The defaults target a small project; for production, increase the VM flavor.

Publishing your own application

You can extend the catalog with an APPGUIDE manifest — a YAML file describing the application:

name: my-app
version: 1.2
category: development
min_ram: 4
min_disk: 40
images:
  - ubuntu-24.04
install:
  - curl -fsSL https://example.com/install.sh | bash
ports:
  - 8080/tcp
params:
  - name: admin_password
    type: secret

Publish the manifest from the operator panel (“Catalog → Manifests”) and it becomes available to every project immediately.

Known limitations

  • Applications are deployed to a single VM — clustered scenarios must be set up manually or through Kubernetes from the catalog;
  • Reinstalling an application over an existing one is not supported — use backups instead.
